Founder Doug Lingner began working in the automatic door industry at the age of 20. With a strong mechanical background developed while working on cars alongside his father, he quickly found success in the industry and advanced through multiple roles.

Doug became a journeyman installer and service technician before moving into management positions, preparing take-offs for proposals, and ultimately running Automatic Door Divisions for two major glass and glazing companies.
